Need Advice on Selling Truck
Since I'm not a normal car tradesman, I need some opinions. I have 3 people that are interested in my 1969 Rover that I'm asking 5500 for. None of them have asked me to come down from that price even after seeing/driving the truck. But, I don't have it in my driveway right now due to a never ending brake issue. The UPS man just dropped of the braided lines that will replace the 3 soft lines on it. Hopefully to finally end this saga. But anyways, how do I deal with all three wanting this truck for full price. All three telling me they will be here Saturday afternoon to drive it again, fixed or not?? For full asking price?????? Mom and Mark said to have them all come out at the same time and let them haggle it out, winner wins. I say the first one to show up owns it. But they tend to think the price may go up with more people looking. All peeps have/do own landies and know what they are about and what they are worth. In fact two of the guys have asked me why I'm not selling for more. But I come up with a fair price for buyer and seller, don't want to rape anyone, but yet don't want to sell to someone who will dump it in a junkyard in 6 months.
Please give me your opinions. We are only selling due to moving, if we could take everything at a reasonable cost to move, we would.
