Wow, that does suck. Glad your wife is OK. That had to have been a fairly traumatic experience. But I'd definitely avoid that part of town in the future. Especially with a nice vehicle like that. Maybe have the relatives meet elsewhere or drive a less flashy vehicle. Dunno... still sucks.

I know Austin very well.. That whole east side Chavez to 12th has some pretty rough characters frequenting it. Too bad because there are some good families who have lived in that area for generations...
