My Yukon was carjacked

[iwaslowr]

My Yukon that was so much fun is officially gone...

As you may have heard it was carjacked Sunday evening 11/22/09 at 5:45pm near 3rd St.@Attayac St. in Austin, Tx. The suspect armed with a 9MM jumped out of a black suburban and demanded the keys from my wife just as she exited our Yukon after arriving at a relatives house.

Here's the aftermath.

As of 11/23/09 only six sets of these Vellano VSK 26x10 inch chrome wheels with the 6x139.7 bolt pattern have ever been built and all sets may not be in the United States. Regardless of location, as of yesterday this was one of six sets in the entire world. If you see a set of these wheels for sale they may be the one's stolen from my Yukon so please call 911 and refer to the Austin, Tx. Police Department case number 09-3261708.
Here are some closeups of the wheels:

Holy Crap! That totally sucks! We'll be on the lookout!

[Darkanion]

Wow! Sorry to hear that!

[ScottyBoy]

I'll be watchin for them for ya!

[OG-TERROR]

WOW!!!

Glad to hear your wife is Okay, but that really sucks about your vehicle. I'll keep my eyes open too. I know it happened in else where, but you never know, they could have been sold here in CA.

[66nova]

Damn! That sucks!

At least no body was hurt. Definitely keep an eye out on Craig's list and Ebay for those wheels.

When my car hauler was stolen they had it up on ebay and off within 24 hours.

They had a scam where they would only sell locally and once someone contacted them about the trailers they pulled them off of ebay.

[Carolinaboy]

Man sorry to hear that. Glad to hear that everyone is physically ok. We will all keep a look out. Once again Sorry to hear that

[Draenor]

All for some fwonking wheels.

At least your wife is ok. The vehicle can be replace. The guy will get cought, if these are as rare as you say. They will turn up.

.....We need to get a*official* beware for stole property thread...

Holy crap! That is just awful! I am glad that your wife is okay though and that is what is important.

What an utter waste to torch the whole vehicle for just the wheels.
