I'm glad it all worked out too. I wasn't expecting to get another car payment anytime soon, but shit happens. :dunno:
I know they totaled the 05 because the cost to repair the car is close to or more than what its worth. But if I can buy it back for under 1k, I am considering it. It needs a whole front clip, the radiator and AC condenser, and a new drivers airbag. I will try and get some pics with the hood open today because we are going to the tow yard to get some belongings out of it. But from what I saw at the accident scene, the frame/unibody doesn't look damaged. The bumper bent in like a "V" because it hit the receiver hitch and all the force was concentrated in that one area in the middle.

Zembonez, what would those Altimas go for at auction? :dunno: Just trying to began idea of what the ins might want to buy it back. I don't think it would be worth it if they wanted more than 1k for it. But I would gladly fix it for that price because I know what shape the drive train is in.

I actually told her that. She has been wanting a new Altima since the redesigned 13 model came out last year. But after looking at our finances, we decided against it, especially since there was absolutely nothing wrong with her car. But now we will just have to make a few sacrifices to be able to afford this thing. But at least it has all the options we both wanted. It has the XM , Bluetooth, and rearview camera that she wanted, and it has the alloy wheels and rear spoiler that I wanted. It also has remote start (which isn't NEARLY as good as an aftermarket 2-way remote start) and the dual zone automatic climate control. I will have to get some more pics when she gets home from work. I like the black woodgrain on the center console. It is similar to the black woodgrain in the GMT800 Denali's.

And a few of the interior. I tried to get a decent picture of the black woodgrain like finish on the console, but the flash lit up every spec of dust.
