Holy.
Costco.
Hell.
So, after the new tire install of the Dueler HL Alenza Plus, which are supposed to be sooooo smooth...I get gnarly steering wheel shake.
Back to Costco. Re-balance. "Sir, you have aftermarket wheels, and this truck is old"
I check the front end. Still perfect, because my maintenance is overboard.
Back to Costco. "Your wheels are the problem"
Alcoa Forged wheels. They have been perfect for over 10 years, and Costco has put a few sets on this thing. It has driven like silk. We love this old truck.
Off to my favorite tire dealer. 1 hour later, after re-mounting, and rebalancing, our old 'hoe is again driving like a dream.

So done with Costco. Not even a "Sorry you had to come back again"

It's sad, but that's been my kind of experience with them as well, so it seems typical for them.

Sounds like you should have dragged them underneath the Tahoe by the neck and showed them that the front end was fine and that the wheels were true.

I shop around to find the best deal. Costco is 70 miles from me so it isn't worth the drive unless the price is super cheap over anyone else around the area. Sam's is where I have gotten my truck's Michelin's and they have been good so far in the usual rotation at 7k miles. Gives me a chance to go eat a pretzel, love those things.

I mainly deal with a local shop that I have known for a long time to fix flats and such. Got a nail in my jetta tire, took it to them, they patched it and $10 later I was back on the road. Some times living in a small town has it's benefits.

Nah. I vote with my wallet. We buy regularly for the business from them. That just stopped. The commercial rep will be along sometime, I will tell her my story one day.

I like SAMs Club just fine

Yep, I use a local shop that will price match pretty much anybody. Or use Discount tire. Never had a problem that wasn't promptly taken care of.

I have a mom and pop shop I use for my truck. They work me great deals, but I don't have any road hazard. Well they stand behind them, but if I have a blowout out in bfe I sol.

For Lauren's I use the dealership. One of my good clients is manager there and he either doesn't charge me or charges cost on all parts and employee price on labor.

I was sure thinking about giving costco a try, but I'm going to pass after reading this.
