Did they at least give you a Camaro SS (6.2 for 6.2, I mean.. c'mon!) as a loaner?? :jester:

It was at a GMC Dealership and I wish they would have given me a Camaro loaner, I have been yerning to drive one. They brought me back to work in an Acadia

So, no loaner at all? That sucks..

The couple of times mine was in the shop, they paid for a rental until it was fixed.. They got po'd one time that the rental company put me in a Nissan truck..

They didn't offer and I didnt ask. I guess that would be my fault. I stayed there reading a book for almost 2 hours to see if it was a simple fix.

I love the 6.2

One of my guys just bought one from a '10 Denali with 5K miles. He is putting it in his '88 IROC, and doing a VVT performance cam upgrade before he stuffs it in. Should be damn sweet!

My truck switched over to the company last year and I told my dad that I didn't care if he thought that I should get a new truck because I was going to drive it till the wheels fall off. Then buy it back and give it TVS love and all the other goodies for it :D2

Well I picked up my truck today. They warrantied the CPS and parts to go with it but apparently they had to drop the pan to get to it so I got an oil change.

The tech said that my oil was lumpy, wish I would have known they were going to dump the oil, I would have sent it off for testing...now I have Mobile1 Synthetic for the next 5000 miles or so until I can change it back to AMSOIL. I am semi-concerned as to what would have made the oil lumpy since it was the 25000 mile signature series AMS and it had 20k on it. Maybe going 80 on the highway is as harsh as city driving and I should change it more often. :dunno:

Anyways, the rough idle went away and it drives like it did when I first got it :wookie:

Lumpy? WTF?

That makes no sense, but 20K is pretty extreme. Did you do a filter change at 10K?
