I know a guy that used to have a Scout. He had it in his backyard for years and always wanted to fix it up. Then he got married and his wife didn't want it sitting there anymore. So I think he sold it pretty cheap.

Nice looking Scout. I drove those Scouts when they first came out the first one I drove was standard and geared low. We had a 1976 Scout my dad bought it brand new and boy did we have fun with it down at South Padre Island we would pull cars/trucks out for beer money the only bad thing of them is they rust BIG times and that's because we would wash the piss out of it and the car washes were only a quarter back then oh one can get stuck in one I learned the hard way on a mud road but after that I put on some wide mud tire and rims.
