My '05 F-150

Ok I just filled up about half way and did the math on my milage. I put 23 gallons of gas the last time when my low fuel warning came on. I've been having such a crappy week that I forgot to fill up last night before the warning came on again so after dropping off my wife this morning it came on. I filled up and checked my trip odometer. 379 miles with 23 gallons of gas averaged out to 16.4 miles per gallon. I am pleasantly surprised! hope this means things are lookin up!

Man I would hate for 16.4 to be good mpg. I usually can get 470-490 on 23 gallons. I do have a lot less truck than you do though.

Damn, I've averaged 13.5MPG since I put on the new wheels and the 285/65/20 tires. That's probably 90% city, 10% highway.

I'm lucky to hit 300 on a tank.

If I would have filled up the tank it would have been 30 gallons and around 494 miles in total. taking in consideration all the stuff I took up to camp plus my grill and the cooler full of drink I still think it isnt bad.

thanks to Thomas (slash36g) I put new tires on my truck! He sold them to me at a great price! I fixed some cables and put the new sticker on my plates. Big day for my truck!
