ok so second HPOP held better pressure but still has a hot no start condition so into teh engine again.

tore it down to the valves only. checked every o ring. turns out the...... injector O rings were bad. how a 4 month old o rings can go bad i do not know...

well i am in talks with the injector builder as i do not believe they replaced these when they built and sent them to me. i hope we can work something out because $2.40 worth of o rings cost me about 500$ today.

truck is running and strong at that. no leaks and lots of oil pressure!

That sucks Dave! Hopefully you can get some $$$ out of the injector guy for this mistake. Glad you found the issue and got it back on the road. Next stop the quarter mile! :)

The company I bought them from talked to the builder. He messaged me personally asking for a phone call.

I called him today; he asked where I stood with the repair. I told him they were rebuilt and the truck was running. He then asked what O ring company I got new rings from, I told him, he was happy.
He then asked how much I was out for the labor to swap them and the cost of O rings. He is sending me a refund for that amount... very very very stand up in my book!

Turns out a company that makes the O ring packs, screwed the pooch during a batch or two. They caught most of them, but not all. He said he has refunded about 3-4000$ to customers so far..
