This truck is pretty fun to drive. Not so fun for the three cars on the highway that wanted to play. 100 is no problem to get to. I need to get to the track.

yes, i have a very hard shift or converter lock at 28-35 mph depending on throttle position. doesn't happen at WOT so i think the line pressure is a bit high or the TC locks to late in the shift but i really think it is a line pressure issue. calling the trans builder and tuner tomorrow.

Forgot to update this. The hard shifts and odd shifting were a side effects if the trans adaptive learning fight with the tune. Tune writer shut it off and no problems since.

Talked to the builder today. Pump was trashed. Clutches were very close to dead too. But te shafts were fine. That makes me very confident that my billet trans with extra clutches will hold up just fine.

took some pics while replacing the injectors and upgrading the turbo. all the work took me to a 13.49 @ 99

valve covers off, oil rail exposed

oil rail off, valve train exposed.

injectors sit between the rocker arms.

didn't get other pics as I replaced them. I was just trying to get done.

stock powermax wheel still on.

turbo out. this was easier than I thought it would be.

stock to the left, upgraded wheel to the right.

split the compressor case and installed the new wheel.

back in and tightened down

up and running, click the pic, its a video!!!!

How can you replace the turbo wheel and not have to rebalance the assembly? It is great that you can do that but I would be afraid that the balance would be off and the turbo would explode.

The wheel is balanced. The shaft And exhaust wheel are too. They just don't get assembly balanced. They say that they don't need it and a lot of people have done this with no issues.

I know where your coming from though!!
