You're lucky. Around here, diesel is $.25-.30 more than 87 octane.diesel was actually right at what i was paying per gallon even less at some stations before all the prices dropped some.
but my diesel reasoning is the fact that for what i want to spend on a crewcab its a high mileage gas motor which id be more concerned about than a higher mileage diesel motor. plus 3/4 cabs are bigger than 1/2 ton
I agree that a diesel would be a safer bet than a gasser in a high-mileage vehicle. And I guess you don't have to worry about cold weather starts either.
