Tonight I might have traded my Ford for this Jeep. The guy owns a custom body shop here in Houston, and tomorrow he is going to check out the truck, and if all goes well he'll do the trade. It is a 1989 I6 4x4 XJ. Rebuilt engine & tranny. 6in long arm suspension lift and 3in day spacers in the front. Not sure what that means, I don't understand Jeep lifts. Worst case scenario I get my truck back knowing what's all wrong with it. The paint is Hot Rods Satin Black, but it looks kinda dark greenish in the pictures. Hopefully all goes well. I'm also trying to decide what size tires look best.

Looks sweet man. What plans you got for it if you do get it?

I need to find out what the lift is. I have learned that the Jeep lifts are a bit different then my 8in suspension lift on my truck. Im not sure what I want to do. Basic maintenance first. Needs a new head gasket and cooling fan. I mean Lights, Snorkel, 33s maybe upgrade and go 35s. Fender flares, Winch. I'm trying not to get too attached right now, lol in case the deal falls threw. But when I talked to him earlier he said that the battery still wouldn't charge. He put on a new battery, started, Voltage regulator. But he also likes my 2 door Tahoe so if he decides he doesn't like the Ford I can trade for the Chevy. Then convince my Wife we need 2 lifted vehicles lol.
