Well I can tell you George, I was in a similar boat. Flowmaster and wanting something more, I just put on the Magnaflow and I'm a little let down on the sound. It's quieter than my Flow, but on the up side I know that there is absolutely no restrictions in my exhaust now. I hope you end up getting the sound you're looking for. I voted Bullets.:tmc:

Really... I guess I haven't really heard to much about people being upset with either choice. Most people say once you break them in they get a lot louder. I know Darren said his sound changed a lot over 5k (i think).

The Magnaflows sound great under power. I don't think Jarrod has been off the ship yet with his.

MagnaFlow's do get louder once you put 2-3k miles on. Mine has gotten a bit louder. Nice idle, but they really scream when you go WOT (which is nice when cops are near). My mom says its louder than her Harley. I love it and won't ever have anything else.

I haven't been far with it yet, I went downtown a a couple of days in heavy traffic. So I haven't been able to get on it at all, but at idle it is noticeably quieter. I know I will gain performance wise due to the lack of restriction. I was just expecting the "WOW" factor the moment I hit the key. It's only a let down in the noise department.:uhoh:

At idle they are quieter, it will get louder with a few thousand miles on it.

Under hard pulls, especially loaded, they are awesome.

No cutout yet, I will bring my wiring stuff back with me next week. All of that stuff is at home and I won't get home until Friday evening. I have a new pulley and belt and the part to fix my 4WD problem. All those parts are waiting at home, I have a few projects that need attending to.:uhoh:
