Today's change was very drastic:

About $5k in damage. My body shop and claims adjustor have been really reasonable and light bar will be replaced as part of the claim, as well as my HID/Projector headlights and HID foglights.

What a way to start 2015...

Ouch! Sounds like you're OK, which is the important thing. The airbags didn't blow? I'd expect a much higher bill if they did.

Naw...the airbags didn't go off. I managed to get it slowed down enough to avoid that...just not enough to avoid the F350 in front of me.

According to driver 2, driver 1 (a Hyundai Elantra) stopped on the freeway for no apparent reason. I told driver 2 to include that info in his DMV accident report we are required to file.

So, driver 3 was not able to avoid driver 2.

Defecation occurs.

So today I ran by the body shop to see how things were going. Teardown is almost complete. They had to cut the bumper off the truck as they couldn't get any of the fasterners to come loose.

They will inspect tomorrow and let me know if they find anything else besides what was filed with the estimate.

I've asked for two enhancement and I'll reveal those later.

For now, here's how the Ram sits...

I hate seein' it like this. There are no mods on the front, sides, the rear, under the hood or inside that I didn't do myself.

I wonder where Hyundai twit is...I'd like to talk to her a bit.

All fixed.

I opted for the SRT hood since the stock hood needed replacing. I like this one better.

I got it back last night with no working PIAA driving lights and a CEL showing on the dash.

The lights just needed a new 20A fuse.

The CEL was a P0252 / Low System Voltage. The battery must have been near flat with the truck sitting in the shop for a month. My Predator programmer made quick work of the code reading and erasing.
