It will look good on your vanity plate. Pre-order that car, so you can haz one.

The more I read I probably came in a bit pessimistic. I just saw 6.2L, 450hp, 26mpg and thought "that's not any better than the current engines!" But the more I read I feel those have to be pretty conservative. From "Preliminary 450hp," "Preliminary 450lb-ft," and "More than 26 mpg." Hopefully it's fairly conservative and we'll all end up happy. And yes I do remember the 5.3 having 270hp in 1999 and then 285 in 2000 so it is just a base line, I just really want GM to hit the ground AHEAD of the competition (much like the LS), not equal to it

It's all speculation right now. I'm guessing this is just the tip of the iceberg. The power delivery is better than the LS7 which is a 428. I like.

Fixed!

450lb.ft. is already a good torque figure for a 6.2L engine. I still remember when the Dodge Viper needed 8.3L to reach 500lb.ft....

Well there are plenty of people in the GM community that are really worried about how hard it's going to crack the ECM's and now tune these beast IF they can get them cracked.
