I just called our local dealer(Power Ford,Valencia) and they don't have one.They don't list a complete diff.You get the housing then install the parts.The housing alone is $695.79 They also list three different ratios for that diff.... 4:10,3:73 & 3:55 He also said that diff is on national back order just like your dealer said.What about a real low mileage used one? Might be your only choice if you want it done soon

BTW the P/N is 6L3Z3010AA(according to The Ford parts guy) and it fits Aug '05-Aug '08 trucks

Thanks for checking. If this goes on for a couple more weeks, I might look at a used one. I found the crack on the case. It is on the upper side.

update:
Diff case arrived last Friday. Dropped truck off Monday. As of a few minitues ago it is still not finished. Tech say 'its been fighting me the whole way'

Sigh.. sometime soon I guess. I would rather they get it fixed then rush through it, but I miss my baby!
