So did you notice any power difference dude? Thinking about the same thing for my truck.. just the tube.

Maybe. More noise from under the hood at WOT! That means there must be more power right? :D

I added it at the same time I had Justin tune it.

One thing for sure, I like the cleaner look under the hood than with the OEM intake

I read the CIA comparison and thought hey I might buy one of those tubes.....but WTF it's a $120.00 for a blow molded plastic $5.00 part and rubber connector!!!! Holy shit....I thought it might cost $50-$60 at the most.

But what is one to do working on a 67 Camaro I have paid 10X the value for a part that works or looks better. All part of the automotive hobby. In comparison my new headers I am going to buy are made by Dyanatech, they are coated and have ball socket flange connections come with gaskets and bolts for $400.00!! They a the deal of the century!!

The money I will save on those I might buy a $5.00 plastic part for $120.00...

Just got home from loading a truck and got on it a little coming back into town. There is a nice new engine roar from under the hood.

o, is it worth doing the coolant delete to the throttle body housing? I need to take that off to clean it and while I was at it I was going to delete it, or is it not worth the hassle?

Well, you're in NC so it can't hurt to do it. What gains you will see, that's a different story. The claims of 6-8 HP and 7-9 ftlb are pretty consistent and here's a purported dyno result pre and post bypass.

I'd say for the $10 it'll cost, it can't hurt, not in warm climates anyway.

I am interested to hear what Jenna has to say though.

Gains are negligible with the bypass.

I've often thought of getting one, but keep backing out.
