Anyone planning to head out to the mile? I would love to go watch those amazing cars. I hope they can take the record and represent for the LS crowd. :fingersx:

Well I guess they have made a few passes. They did 215 on low boost. But they are having problems with their tires. So until they fine some ones that can hold up to the stress, they might be done.

dang thats got about as much power as my truck down at 4500, but that sounds amazing at almost 8000rpms lol.

i was just watching them make a new gen 1000hp camaro with a F-1R 12 rib procharger all built motor and circle D 6l80e run a 9.98 @ 144 with a 1.7 60ft which was dang fast. sucked though that a couple hundred hp less new 5.0 mustang ran a 9.95@142 with a 1.5 60ft. new gen camaros are SO HEAVY

weight and suspension play a big role.

i gotta say im a GM man through and through, that that 5.0 is really stout in those mustangs and the weight is pretty nice as well. even with the stock 6.2 GM is gona have to do something haha.

UPDATE:
I guess they had to run on their 20" street tires and wheel combo but laid down a 239 and backed it up with a 236 on only 15lbs of boost.
