Tom must've kicked you out. :uhoh: :jester:
Didn't I mention that? Similar to the new "Chase Grid" system, if you finish ahead of me in the points, you get kicked out of the group :zembonez::p

It seemed like the site was a bit laggy updating the points last night. The website is blocked from here at work, so I can't even see what's going on over there now.

Congrats to Jeffery for the first win. I guess it's official now :p

Those bonus points seem to have played a bigger part that I expected. And as always, one bad pick will screw you pretty good. :D

Yep! I'm going to have to pay some attention to that when I do my picks this week! I had completely missed the "bonus points" thing when I was skimming over the rules.

I saw it, but it said something about "starting position" being different that "qualifying position" combined with the weird way of qualifying for Daytona, I pretty much ignored it and just went with who I thought would do well.

I believe the bonus was based on qualifying position, would that be based on time last Sunday or finishing position in the Duel? What about the ones who changed engines before the Duel or crashed in the Duel? Too much thinking for me :D Maybe next week.

And make things EVEN EASIER on you!?? :nono: :jester:

Tom, if you need help making a 2014 NASCAR Picks Results thread and stickying it, let me know. (Man, that last part didn't sound right.)

After the race got started and I saw some of the crazy points being awarded, I clicked on "scoring help" and saw the info about bonuses.

Starting position should mean "wherever the f'r started the race, regardless of whether that is because of qualifying or engine change or what the f' ever." I haven't looked at the bonuses closely enough to see if that's how that was calculated or not. What I was seeing during the race seemed to be based on the NASCAR "Starting Lineup," though. :dunno:
