No offense to T but you couldn't hold a gun to my head and make me buy a used Audi. Beyond about 60K they are extreme money pits.

If we're talking over 60K & 10 grand, I'd stick with a Japanese car or a full sized SUV if you want reliability.

Life is rough at times.

It's a damn shame the Audis don't hold up better long term. They make some damn good looking cars. Like most Euro cars... you wanna own them for the FIRST 60K, not the second or third...

I've done some math and there is just no way I can justify a 2nd car just to drive to work. I realize everyone's commute isn't the same but for my 50 miles/day it's better FOR ME to car pool and drive the shit out of my Jeep. Then when I wear out or get tired of the Jepp go buy something different.

If it did work out depending on the class it'd be a Cruze (had a few as a rental and really enjoyed them) or a 2 door Accord V6.

MY Cavalier just did 30.8mpg

I'm 5'11 and find it uncomfortable though. Leg/foot room that is. Cup holder space sucks horrible too. My Neon had more room. Would still probably have it if it was not for the mechanical issues it had. Cheap @ss good running car for mpg DD ftw. In 2012 I spent $5500 in gasoline in my truck. Cavalier was $4800. It might pay for itself after a year a half of saving fuel/miles from the F150.

Would love a 2013 Malibu or a 2010/2012 Fusion SEL.

I sometimes miss my Elantra for the gas mileage. I went from 36 mpg to 15 or less with the truck.

Now I dont care so much because I have a take home company van with a gas card and dont have to put $100 in gas in the truck every week like I did before I got my current job last fall.

I also had a Neon a while back. As much as I liked the cars I always end up back in a truck so Im sticking to trucks from now on.

Im 6'3 and had no issues fitting in the Neon or Elantra.
