My dad use to own a 64 with a three on the tree and straight six.

My dad learned to drive in a C10 with a 3 on the tree and the 265cu.in. straight six which my gramps used to work with. BTW these bigger mirrors are also popular back here, way better than those small ones...

Finally got a bit of a cool down weather wise here in Colorado so I color sanded & deglossed the cab and doghouse. Next up.. re-assembly which is sure to be a rewarding time.


This is what the paint looks like after the sanding and scotchbriting!

Next step is wiping the surface with "Purple Power cleaner and degreaser", which cuts the gloss.

And here it is after wiping down with water:

:thumbs: But the color from the door to rear piller looks just a little of? Maybe just the way its sitting in the sun? But still like it!

Good observation. Yeah, that's pretty much why I uploaded that 1st photo. But once you wipe the surface with "Purple Power" and then wash it with water the colors match.
