A 4" suspension lift will be MUCH better. If you get keys and an add a leaf you will have to crank your t-bars which can wear out your front end parts much faster.

285's will look pretty small with a suspension lift though, 35's would be better.

Either way the tires are gonna look small. you have round wheel wells so its gonna fit so much better than on a chevy my buddy has 33's on his 03 fx4 with no lift he only had to trim very very slightly.

I have made up my mind. I'm getting a BDS 6" suspension lift, and making it a 4" by cranking the torsion bars down 2 inches And getting the full 6 inch springs and then eliminating the 2 inch blocks. And POOF 4 inches

i'm running 33's on a 4" lift that actually measures 5" you'll be fine
