Just wear over 150,000 miles. fly wheel, clutch, torque converter. Just old

Just because its old doesnt mean anything! I have seen trucks with 250K with original transmissions...

If its jerking or slipping... then something is bad.. yo.

Big three truck transmissions are very often done for by 150K. Many are gone by 125K. Getting 200K out of a truck automatic is extremely rare but it does happen.

I know this will bring out the "My buddy's uncle's friend's neighbor has 452,000 miles on his F150 automatic and he's never changed the fluid" stories... but we all know how that goes. Many of those guys also got 28.5 mpg on their last trip to grandmas house pulling 39,000 pounds on an old trailer that only had three wheels left...
