Where can I get cheap kingpin press for replacing the kingpin set on a truck suspension thats a half ton?

That actually works. I was told I need press for the bushings and sometimes the pin is hard to get out.

On the 18 wheelers at the shop we just secure it with a few jackstands, Stick a bolt or something under the kingpin andjack the bolt up. With a few taps with a hammer it usually comes right out. Sometimes we have to add a little heat to it but i imagen a 1/2 ton would be much more easy.

The axles/ibeams are off the frame and loose laying on the garage floor.

dang. It's probably harder to do it with them off. Maybe someone else can chime in and help. I never had to change any on anything besides the 18-wheelers. I dont really know another way.

Bolt them back on the truck.

No you don't. I have put them in with a bushing driver
