Unless you're going to use it off-road I would keep it the way it is. It looks a lot cleaner now. If you're using it off-road and need the improved approach angle and protection then 1

Keep it and blow the money on a supercharger instead!
this is going to cost me less then a 100 bucks to make :)

already asked for the material and everything looking around 50 bucks :)
 ^^^^^ Just fWONking with you George, 1 would look bad ass I say DO IT!
now you know why i said what i did bro
Unless you're going with a long-travel front suspension, skip the prerunner deal. That look without the performance is just kinda... lame.
i was thinking about doing mid travel suspension, but leo aka ogterror thinks i should do a SAS swap so for the the suspension stays as is

Keep it as is and fab up a cool looking skid plate to tie it together and up the looks.

x2.........Your truck looks really good now, just build a custom skid plate that will tie into the bumper and bring the look together. The newer trucks have so much of the bumper/cap integrated into the rest of the body lines, that it kind of messes the whole look up when you take that away..........at least that is my $.02

Well it depends on what you want to do with the truck. If you want to go blasting through the desert, long or mid-travel would be the way to go, but if you want to convert to 4wd and do more crawling and trail riding, the solid axle would be the way to go.

solid axle is about 10k for a good job, and long travel is around 7k and mid travel is like 5 i believe
