Cowboy Cadillac
Ain't no trash in my trailer!
I just got this 2000 Chev LT Z71 from a neighbor who had bit off more than he could chew. It was an insurance buy back after being stolen and thrashed. His plan was to fix it back up, add lift, tires etc. Times got tough and it sat....and sat...and sat.
I asked him if he was willing to sell it as I wanted the engine for the mud trucks. Took him 2 months to finally say yes and we hashed out a deal. I traded him a set of 18" Ford Super Duty King Ranch wheels with worn out 35x12.5 Hankook Dynapros, 4 used 35x12.5x18 Toyo open country M/Ts and $80.
Decided to strip it down and make a mud truck out of it. Take all the parts I can use for my DD and everything else I can to lighten it( starting with the badges just for Tobias
), throw some mud tires on it, hand the keys to wifey and let her drop it in the mud bogs and let 'er buck! Thats right....wifeys got her own mud truck!
5.3L, 3:73s and a G80....aught to be a good stock class rig.
Door hinge pins are shot
B-e-utiful leather interior...even came with all the free mud and dirt!
Now this is redneck....even for me. Ratchet straps to hold fuel tank in place( fuel pumps been replaced twice)
More redneck engineering....
And this is why the brakes are soft/ non existant.
