At least they said "Rejects" rather than "Refuses" like half of the other outlets are.

It's not like they are required to and are refusing, they simply disagree with the need and are not voluntarily abiding by a recommendation.

Sensationalism at its finest.

As usual.

I'm not siding with either side... just revolted by the typical bullshit methods. The bottom line on the study actually puts the Jeeps in the same territory as most any other SUV when it comes to fire danger from a collision data wise.

Doesn't matter. Facts never get in the way of agenda... and an apparent need for media exposure.

:wtf: Spare tire unscathed?

^^^ Nice. They post a pic of a non rear-ended Jeep to get their point across about Jeeps catching fire if rear-ended. fWONking smooth. :jester:

This is nothing other than a typical "Center for Automotive Safety" witch hunt. Yet another Ralph Nader driven agenda group. Over half of the vehicles included in their own "study" could not attribute the cause of the fire to the Jeep. In other words, the car that hit them caught fire. I get pissed every time I hear about another one of these blackmail schemes that gets reported in the press as a "real threat".

What the fWONking fWONk people?

:chipper:

That's why I drive :ford: and :chevy:

:jester:
Thank you

How many recalls has Ford had for vehicles catching on fire? Their's didn't even require you to get rear-ended to initiate it. Like magic! :jester:
