Jeep Mod List

It was a sad day when I got rid of the Sierra... but i recall someone on here mentioning that they felt I was somewhat "bored" of the Sierra and that I would have fun with this "new" platform.

Well.... they hit the nail on the head! I started preparing a "mod list" for things I want for the jeep... and it keeps getting longer

i convinced myself that i'm at least getting the skid plate setup for this summer so I can go offroading and have the necessary underbody protection.... but the rest of the stuff is probably going to wait until the Jeeps paid off and/or kids are out of daycare

I really wish more lifts were available for the Commander. Only company that has a suspension lift is Superlift.... while i've been happy with Superlift in the past, the kit they have for the Commander isn't very impressive for the price. I guess since they don't have any competition they feel that they can charge what they want

I am really surprised at the lack of modified Commanders and aftermarket available.

.... i guess that's also a blessing in disguise for my bank account

Jeeps have forever been fun to mod. I've loved / hated every one I ever owned.

Oh i know it... i've had a TJ and an XJ in the not so distant past. Didn't mind getting rid of the TJ because that 4 banger was a dog with the bigger tires... but man we had a nice XJ that I didn't want to get rid of

There was plenty of aftermarket for those vehicles though

I saw a lifted white Commander with a brush guard and a safari rack the other day, was probably on 33's. Had some other "offroad" mods too, and when I saw it, I thought of yours for some reason. Funny you have similar things on your wish list. I should have snapped a cell pic for some "inspiration" for you.

It will look/function good when it is all said and done.

There aren't that many lifted Commanders around so chances are he's on the Commander forum im on- and i think ive seen it
