I'll do my best to update the progress on the 62 C-10 ..

He's moving right along with his truck build ..
Still needs to nail down the 'Richmond Gear' remake of the M22 Rock Crusher trans, will be needing it to locate where the motor will be sitting ..
He's still in the think tank on the trans, might go with a 5-speed ??

Not sure just yet, I'm hoping his choice will be a 5-speed with fifth being a overdrive ...

Got a feeling it won't be a long wait to see what his choice will be ...
Once the engine gets to him, should see some fast action go down ...
Or, being it's a truck, there is room for a 6 speed manual, with double OD VS the 5 speed with single OD. I have been looking at the TKX for my vette, but the kit is $5000, and that's not installed. There are a lot of choices on the TKX 5 speed, Tremec. Silver sport or American power sport transmissions both have a lot to choose from. The transmission alone is rite at $3000, for the TKX 5 speed. The 6 speed is more of corse.

Just threw another log on the fire ..

The frame that the Binder is sitting on is a 75 GMC K15, came with vacuum brakes ..
I found a 1999 C30 truck that has a hydroboost brake system, which is soon to be on the Binder ...

Looks fairly close to the above photo ...
I'm installing a Wilwood valve on the rear brake line in order to balance the pressure ..

Reason for doing this swap is the new (To me) motor won't have enough vacuum at low rpms ...

Got lucky with having the hole already drilled in the K15 pedal arm for the hydroboost ..
All I got to do is remove the pin and install it in the lower hole ..

Not all that sure where I'm going to mount it ??
Most likely in the frame rail ..
