i always thought that too........ but last summer i seen a few pontoons with 200 horse and higher outboards... me and my g.f was idleing up river she was talking on the phone when about a 25 foot pontoon came up beside us just idleing they were looking at something on the bank... next thing we new the driver of that pontoon kicked it in the ass just as i looked over and seen it said 300hp on the back of the motor........
