I say just get rid of the hood, the the engine get all the fresh air it can.

OK Ladies and Gentlemen, today I finally got the materials I'll be needing to create, ............I have no idea what will come out of this hood but I'm confident enough it will turn out great; I'll let you guys be the judges.

I got my Styrofoam, Liquid Bondo and Fiberglass cloth.

1 1/2" thick Styrofoam.

I then decided to mess with my stock hood instead of the Ram Air hood. So I had one of my workers bring down the hood which I had stored up in the attic.

I then marked where I wanted to cut it, you can barely see the red outline but it is there, well I take that back not anymore.

Then I took electrical tape and straightened the line to get a descent cut.

I then began cutting away.

And out it went.

Tomorrow or some other day I will cut out the rest so I can accomplish a dipped hood.

Then I took the Styrofoam and outlined the cut out piece I will be creating.

Now I will dig out the Styrofoam in order to create the gills.
