One last question though...since the one I bought is not greasless what type of grease should I use and how much should I slop on the joints?

You don't grease it. It already has lubrication on the shaft

Just got this done on the Avalanche this morning. No more clunks and vibration!

Like Jarrod said, you'll have to remove the gas pedal on the [I guess] 03+ trucks. You have to remove the two 10mm bolts holding the gas pedal assembly (disconnect the wiring harness by pulling the red tab out), then remove the three 10mm nuts that are holding the bracket the gas pedal was attached to.
