HOW TO: Making the low beams stay on with the high beams - '99-'02 GM trucks

Time to dust this thread off. New here and I apologize if the answer lies elsewhere, but my question is if this mod will work woth the combo of both HID and OEM bulbs? I have HIDs on my lows and OEM highs and just want to be sure I can splice the wires from the HID and still manage to work?

Just do all the splicing on the factory wiring and you're set. And disable your DRL's if you have them, and they're your low beams

It should. This is doing nothing more than supplying voltage to the second set of wires. The lights being used don't matter.
