This has been on my list for a few years. I'm a little apprehensive about it. Maybe this summer.

So, did you do it yet? I prolly need to do this to mine. I am pretty sure my '02 has the right tranny for this. Can anybody verify it for me?

If you have an 02 Silvy like I do then yes you have the correct transmission.

i do have an 02 with the 5.3

It should work in just about any GM 4 speed from the mid 90s to now.

As long as its a 4L60, 65, or 70.
