How to do a brake job on GMT-800, 2006 Chevy Silverado

Not necessarily, when you do two just go ahead and bleed the other corners while you're at it. That's what I did with mine since I had to wait on getting the rear shoes in. I did the front pads and once it was together I bled the fronts out and shifted to the rear and bled them also. I bled the rears again yesterday when I finished installing the new shoes. Just for good measure.

Good to know... I've got rear discs... Didn't bleed them last time I did the brakes, but I also didn't open the reservoir, lol

06 Silverado rear drum brakes

Good job J-rod, I'm doing the rear brakes on my 06 VortexMax now. Thanks for the pointer on disconnecting the parking brakes to make attachment easier. My main problem is reinstalling the W rod retainer. Any suggestions?
