How MUCH is gas in your area?

3/4 tank of gas and 2 cans of Skoal were $95 this morning, don't look at the price anymore as it really doesn't matter. Not like I'm going to skip filling up if the price is too high.

P.S. why the **** do they put such big gas tanks in long beds. It's awesome that I can milk my tank for well over 500 miles but it really spanks the 'ole checkbook when you have to fill it up from the E.

I found a gas station today that sells only 87 octane. Instead of having 3 different octanes of gas, the pumps have all 87, but one has pure 87 octane gasoline, the middle one has 3% ethanol 87 octane gas, and the last one has 10% ethanol 87 octane gas.

Dayum, go find yourself a big ass tank and fill it with that liquid gold. I haven't seen gas without ethanol in a couple of years here. When the ethanol craze was really kicking off there was 1 station that out lasted the rest (local BP aka Neenah Standard) that advertised no ethanol added. I talked to owners of other gas stations that would fill up there just to have no ethanol. It has been about a year since they switched to E10 in all grades of fuel and I can't find anywhere else without it.

I haven't fueled in a marina lately but that's my last thought, boat owners have far and wide shown that E10 has done some serious damage to marine engines so I believe most marinas that offer fuel still have straight gas. They might look at me funny if I go park on the dock to get fuel in my truck though.

Well, we were at $2.59 for like 4 days, then dropped to $2.58 for 1 day, and today we went up to $2.65....a**holes!

I paid $2.55 today, then saw it as low as $2.45. Figures.

It might even be illegal, depending on what taxes are being paid. Fuel sold in a regular station has a federal highway tax added to the price, but I don't know if the fuel at a marina would have that tax added or not. If it doesn't, then it's not legal to use that fuel on a motor vehicle on the highway. Usually the fuel is dyed a different color to indicate this.

It was $2.49-$2.55 for a few days, but it's back up to $2.65 for 87.

I paid $2.41 at Exxon in Kingston Tn last Sunday when I filled mine up. This was 87 octane with 10% Ethanol.

I got premium yesterday in Mount Olive North Carolina for 2.79.
On the barrier islands... offshore...premium was 3.25
