How Many People Here Know How to Drive A Manual Transmission?

Yep, Learned to drive one in a Geo Tracker Now I drive semi's around the farm, and a Dodge Cummins on the farm with a manual. I really wish my car had one too.

My first ride was a manual trans. I have always had one vehicle in my herd that is a manual shift.

Also have driven many big rigs, when required, over the years as well.

My first truck was a 5 speed. 1993 S-10...it was a good little truck. And of course most of the trucks I drove during my landscaping days in high school and college were manuals. Our Pete and International tandem axle dump trucks would wear your ass out going through all the gears.

I always had a truck but bought a few play toys to complement the trucks during high school/college...they were a 1992 Honda Prelude Si and 1995 Eagle Talon Turbo AWD (fun little car).

i just can't stand when someone says they can drive a manual because they have driven a 2011 Jetta to work for a year or something. you can dump the clutch on these newer cars and they won't even stall.

drive an old jeep or chevy truck with a burned out clutch in the mud and rocks, rippin in up and then you can talk about being able to drive a stick.

All of them...plus a diff split.

with a diff split, you can get 40 different gear ratios...
