Hell yeah, nothing wrong with a manual. I learned on a 1973 F-100 (3 on the tree of course). Owned a 1972 Datsun with a 3 1/2 speed (the shifter was broke :lol:) and owned 1 car and 3 other trucks with a manual. I have just become lazy and don't want to bang gears anymore BUT if I won the lotto, I would have a new Camaro or Shelby GT-500 in the garage and it WOULD have a manual tranny! :tmc:

yup, I learned on a beat to shit chevy caviler hatch back, I think it was only a 4 speed(was a friends), and then perfected on a Toyota camery with 185k on the clock...

Forgot to mention that I trained the wife to drive a 5-speed... 1 clutch later :ohnoes: and she was driving like Mario Andretti on the highways! :thumbs:

I learned on a 84 toyota pickup. 4cyl 5sp, reg cab, long bed. now in our families fleet we have a 04 mini cooper S with a 6sp and a 07 toyota taco with a 6sp.

I got to drive a older model golf course maintance golf cart last summer..it was a 4sp and only went maybe 25-30

The first manual I drove was my Grandfather's 1946 Ford pickup.
Later I had a '50 Ford convertible, a 50 Chevy sedan, a '55 Ford 2 dr hardtop and on and on and on...
