I'm just curious to see how many people here actually know how to drive a manual transmission. I know it's become more common for people to NOT know how to drive manuals, so I wanted to know, and what better way then to VOTE

I learned on one. Taught my son on one, and made sure his first vehicle had one.

Even 3 on the tree.

Oh hell yes  When I was a kid, we had a '74 F100 with a straight 6, and 3 on the column, FOR YEARS

My family owned semi trucks, too. So I was driving 13s and 15s, delivering trucks to tire stores, etc when I was 16.

I learned on a Volkswagen and perfected my skill on an 86 Fiero.

I've been considering a Hyundai Genesis V6 Coupe with a manual. They're more fun. :naughty:

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, my wife knows how to drive a manual as well. The last Volkswagen we bought was a 2000 Beetle GLS that was a manual and we had to look for a manual even back then. All the dealers had were automatics :wtf:

Yup. I wonder how many folks here will be honest on this one though.

I learned to drive with the same manual '91 Sierra I drove for 238K miles.

I've also had an '88 Dodge Daytona Turbo, a '91 Turbo Toyota Supra and a '78 FJ40 that were all manuals as well, and tons of fun!
