I think he means ones that come in a real retail jewel, and don't contain a Memorex with "Crazy Train" written in Sharpie.

:D2

Oh.. Probably about 3 then...

All of mine say "Crazy Train" on 'em... :uhoh: :jester:

:rollin:

All of my CDs came from a retail source - some local - many online.

Yeah, I've had a few "Sharpie CD's" handed to me over the years. But, if I liked the music, I went ahead and bought a legit disc of that music.. If I didn't like the music, I didn't keep 'em.. Either way, the Sharpie CD's ended up in many, many pieces.

I'm sure you have seen a zillion sharpie software CDs. I know I have. Every IT guy I know still has a binder full of em. Backups, I believe they call em.

Yeah... A few years ago, I got a good talking-to about the software I was running and ramifications to my job if I got busted.. So, I don't run "backups" anymore.. Now, I may not always be on the current version of whatever I'm running. But, if it's on one of my machines, I can provide a license for it -- one way or another..

Now, before that happened.. "Hrmmmm.. How many spindles am I going to need between now and the next Fry's trip..?"

All of my stuff is licensed... even the Adobe stuff. I don't run right out and upgrade when they drop a new version on the market though. I might wait until the next one comes along.

Yeah, that's what I started doing.. "Ok, how much was the last version? Yikes! Ok, the one before that? Ok, that's doable.."

I agree. Software companies are NUTS. Adobe is one of the worst.
