How do I move a 98 Altima with no key?

I picked up a 98 Nissan Altima but it has no key. I want to load it on my car trailer but I cannot get it in neutral. How can I get this car to roll freely on site?

Hire a car thief, or have a locksmith come and key the mutha.

I forgot a locksmith can make a key on the spot. The only down side is the cost. That will cost more than I paid for the car. I just want to get it home for now. I can deal with getting key later.

There might be a little pop up tab if it's a console shifter, with an override under it.

So what changes? Wheel dollies will still let you winch it on the trailer

Did you check on the cost? It is in a garage on the 3rd floor. You are going to need a key, regardless, sooner or later. Unless you already contacted the car thief i mentioned.
