Good luck!!! But I don't think airbags should be handled in personal garages???? JMHO. Would be afraid of one going off while handling or not going off when needed in a wreck.


Wait, that sounds like Land Rover airbags. HEHE

Disconnect the battery before you attempt removal. Just to be safe. Other than that there should be a couple screws on the back side of the steering wheel holding the AB in.

I have removed a bunch and yet to have them go off. :fingersx:

No power no boom. simple as that.

Yeah, I don't know if I really want to tackle that...kaboom!

I would remove the airbag and check the metal button contacts underneath it.

I could just leave the airbag out while I'm at it...safer that way.


Is it even something I could do or will I somehow set it off in my face? I honestly have no clue.
