I don't think it has noise cancellation and I believe the VR/Bluetooth mic is in the overhead console above the sunroof switches.
I guess as poorly implemented as those are with each other on the 900s, the overhead one could be the Onstar/Bluetooth mic and the console one the (completely useless) headunit mic.

Do you have the Bose system (if this option is even available anymore)? Could be a vent hole maybe?
