I prefer the 5000K also. I had 6K in my car and it was to blue for me.

Brian in all honesty the 8k doesn't put out nearly as much light as you think. Especially compared to the 5k.

My buddy had 8k in his and couldn't see shit compared to my 6k I had at the time

I had 4500k`s Very usable light for all conditions. 6k and up is easily absorbed into dark surfaces, when it rains, pavement absorbs all the light. If you want looks maybe throw 8ks in the fogs, or a some auxillarys. Or if you put 8ks in the heads, pickup some rigid LED lights for actually seing were you are going.
