Hey guys, so I added in a capacitor a while back to keep the low beams from flickering while turning on the high beams with the 4 high mod. I noticed it a couple times a while back, but when I came home just now I noticed my 4 high mod isn't working. When I flip on the high's the lows go out and vice versa.

So where should I start, could the 4 high relay have took a crap?

Can you take the relay out and apply 12 volt to it while using a meter to see if the contacts actually switch or not?

Start by doing some basic checking for blown fuses, loose wires, etc., then check that you have power where you're supposed to have power. If that all looks good, start swapping relays to see if it's a bad relay or something else.

Well once I get off work, I'm gunna bring the relays up to where I can check them out and inspect for loose wires, and check the relays.

If you got the wiring harness pre-built by whoever you bought your HID's from, you'll most likely have to replace the relay... Most kit relays don't last...

I thought about that Dennis, but it donged on my that they wouldn't work at all if it was that relay crapped out

I'm heading out now to inspectigate and maybe a wash too

Well thanks guys, but dummy me forgot the fuse to the 4 high relay that I had tucked into wire loom. Turns out it blew, so I'm going to replace it and we'll see what happens
