If you got the wiring harness pre-built by whoever you bought your HID's from, you'll most likely have to replace the relay... Most kit relays don't last...

I thought about that Dennis, but it donged on my that they wouldn't work at all if it was that relay crapped out

I'm heading out now to inspectigate and maybe a wash too

Your headlights won't work at all if an aftermarket relay craps out? :ohnoes:

EDIT: swapped relays and still nothing the fuses are good, all connections seem to be ok

Thanks in advance guys

Here's the wiring set-up I have, minus the high beam relay:

Hey....I recognize that diagram! Glad someone else could use it too.

Did you ever get it figured out?
Right now I'm having a slight problem with only my driver's side low-beam ballast. I think the plug that is going into it is making a bad connection or the pins coming out of the ballast itself are getting to be bad. I unplug the plug, plug it back in, and it either turns on or I just redo the process. I put some die-electric grease in it to see if that will help (figured moisture might have gotten in there). Still playing around with it.

Hey guys, sorry I've been slacking, but I just swapped out the fuse holder (it was for glass, and replaced it with a blade style) but I hooked it all up, swapped relays, checked connections other than those at the headlights, but before I replaced the fuse, and it worked for a while, but blew about a week later. So those connections are fine.
I'll have to take the headlights out, and check those connections, and I may run all new wire just for shits and giggles.

Any other ideas

Ok, well I swapped in the regular bulbs, and the mod works fine. So it's something with the hid's.

Any ideas??

Did you buy your HIDs from DDM Tuning? :dunno: I've been hearing more and more bad stories about their product lately.

Ok, well I I was monkeyin around and found the connection to the low beam was poor, so I replaced it temporarily, and I'll be soldering it up sometime
