Nice. With those style wheels its most likely a 4.8L

Where is this information coming from:dunno: those are the LS package wheels

From myself. From my visual experience, every truck with those wheels has usually had nothing bigger than a 5.3L in it. My neighbor just bought a white '09 and its a LS trim model with only the 4.8.
Don't knock the 4.8. It's 305HP and a damn strong unit. It's exactly the same engine as the 5.3 but has a shorter stroke... AND NO AFM!

Not knocking it at all, its a good engine, especially Dan's lasting as good and long as it did. Good block, but i'm still not scared of one, nor am I of a 5.3 :D2

Don't the silvy's and sierra's with the tow package come with that extra Tow button. I've seen it before but I'm not exactly sure what it is used for. Look bottom left on dash near bottom of steering wheel. Under 4x4 switch. Is that what you are talking about?

Some come with an integrated brake controller for a trailer, but the tow/haul button is located on the end of the shifter handle.

I think I worded it wrong. I know what/where the tow haul button is but I wasn't sure if the brake controller was what he is referring to.

My truck came with those and has a 5.3. It's just the lowest crappy style wheel.

Oh, so you're not scared of J-rod's 5.3? :jester:

That's a good looking truck. I can't help you with anything, mine is an '01.

I have no clue on what you mean by level switch. The only advice I have is if it does have the 5.3, get a programmer or tune and get rid of the AFM.

Not at all, I'll admit it could most definitely beat me, but lets compare body weight, and the bolt on modded vs the tuned only one .
