Mom wants a new truck
Dad wants it fixed but mom keeps making him think otherwise
I will be happy regardless
Sounds like you need to get your mom to convince your dad!

So how did the look/talk between your parents and the green '03 go? Or is that tomorrow?

How much would it cost if you fixed up your truck yourself with used parts, then had it re-painted by a good body shop? :dunno: You could replace the entire front cap, the doors and the bed, then have a body shop do the body work to the cab and paint everything. Thats probably what I would do. I say all this assuming that the frame is not bent, twisted, or tweaked in any way and the truck still runs and drives fine.

That's the best solution. Find OEM parts used, and let the body shop fix the cab and then paint.
