Are the headlight housings for the GMT800 Denali's projectors? They look like a projector lens to me but I just wanted to know for sure. I am looking into upgrading to hid's but want the crisp cutoff that projector housings offer. These headlights seem pretty cheap relative to the other projectors offered out there and I am assuming they are swappable between GMT800 vehicles. It would be sweet because they are the closest looking to stock...

Your thoughts?

Are you referring to these?

Yep, exactly! The only reason I would do this though is if they were true projectors so that I can legaly upgrade to HID's.

Like I said, it looks to me like they are, but I am by no means a professional. Just wondering if anyone knew?

yeah same... The direct replacements don't mention it at all, but some of the other replacements that look exactly the same say projector lenses which is why I was assuming they were, but you know what they say about assuming....

Yes they are projectors. But they are not HID projectors, they are halogen bulb projectors. If you put and HID kit in them you would still technically be illegal. You would need a projector specifically designed for HIDs.

Ah, I see. Thanks for clearing that up. Would there be any good reason to switch to them then? Would they throw light out better that the stock ones I have now or would it purely be a looks thing then? (considering I would just get nice halogen bulbs instead of HID's)
