As some know, I have pacesetter headers (not the best in somes opinion) and a no cat y-pipe that I've had lying around the house for about....6 months now. I'm going down to the hobby shop to attack this situation tomorrow with the help of my buddy. Quick question, the headers have holes for the O2 sensors, but I'm going to end up having a 3rd extra sensor. How do I fix this problem? Last minute tips and hints as what I should go buy tonight would be helpful. Thanks

You will need to have the rear O2 sensor tuned out of your ECM, or look for an O2 simulator. It's a device that you plug into the harness instead of the actual sensor and it fakes out the ECM into thinking there are working O2 sensors. If you don't do one of those 2 things you will pop a code for the rear O2 sensor not reading correctly. One of those codes will be P0430 or something like that.

Does your truck only have 3 total O2 sensors? Take a look my 06 has 4, 2 before cat, 2 after cat.

No it's not something you can get at the parts store. IIRC guys were getting them online somewhere, do some google searching. Unfortunately I don't have any info for them.

Install got halted because checkers didn't have exhaust manifold bolts. Definitely couldn't re-use the stock ones like the instructions suggested due to, as I've read on here, the bolt heads popping off. Damn sure enough this was the case with 2 of mine, explains exactly why I had an exhaust leak. So I've heard about grade 8 bolts or something like that, the link below is what i found on summit racing, let me know what you think
